Who we are
Visit St. Mary’s MD is a non-profit organization designed to create, support, and market tourism and is funded entirely by a portion of the local accommodation tax. This organization was formed to serve you, the businesses and attractions that offer experiences and services that appeal to both the community and the tourist.

Qualifying businesses
Your business qualifies as a "partner" if you represent a hospitality and tourism business, such as a museum, historic site, hotel, bed & breakfast, campground, restaurant, specialty shop, gallery, outfitter, charter boat captain, marina, water excursion, state park, hunting, and fishing supplier, sports venue, agritourism site, golf course, winery and meeting, and banquet venues.

Benefits of being a partner
By listing your business, services, or events with us, we will include your attraction, event, or business in the information we regularly provide to the Maryland Office of Tourism, where it may be featured on visitmaryland.org, in their annual visitor guide, or in their national marketing efforts.

By listing your event on our site, we’ll also promote you through our social media channels, currently, Facebook and Instagram, where we are consistently adding to our 23,000 friends and followers.

VisitStMarysMD.com is quickly becoming the hub of information for travelers considering coming this way for a vacation or an adventure. We have been steadily and incrementally improving our website, and we must be on the right track because our web traffic is consistently growing. We currently draw about 20,000 visitors to our website every month---and that’s 20,000 potential customers for your business or attraction!

Partner requirements
Ensure your listing is up to date. If your information changes, take a moment to submit a new partner form so we can update your business in our partner listing, including photos to showcase the best of what makes your business or attraction really shine. If you don’t have great photos to share, let us know and we’ll work with you to fill that void.

Our event calendar, the most visited area of our website, offers another opportunity to our partner businesses. If you are hosting an event that has appeal beyond our local community, please let us know about it so we can promote it.
