Come celebrate the anniversary of the award-winning Commemorative to Enslaved Peoples of Southern Maryland with the observance of The Sacred Journey.
The event will begin with a ceremony Honoring the Commemorative, followed by the Procession of Dignity, and conclude with the candlelit Reading of Names of the Enslaved at the College Waterfront.
Free and open to the public.
Immediately following the waterfront ceremony enjoy the reception at the waterfront.
