February Second Saturday: Stuffed Animal Sleepover @ Piney Point Lighthouse Museum
Feb 8
- Admission: Free
- Location: Piney Point Lighthouse Museum
- Time:
5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Explore history and the outdoors through curiosity and play! Modeled loosely after the "Forest School" learning styles in Denmark and Sweden, our Second Saturday Series encourages exploring nature and history through hands-on, tactile, “no right or wrong way to play” experiences. Age is not a factor for most events; adults need to connect with nature and history in relaxing, simple ways too! So come; look under a rock, build a fort with us or listen to a story. See flyer for further details.
February's Second Saturday event is Stuffed Animal Sleepover: Stories & Snoozies at the Museum!
Join us here at the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum for a family fun evening of storybooks and hot cocoa! Dress in your comfiest jammies and bring your favorite stuffed animal to a cozy storytime adventure.
Afterward, leave your stuffed friend with Sid the Osprey for an overnight adventure at the lighthouse. You never know what photos they may take for you while you snooze!
For children ages 10 and under; parents/siblings/other family welcome. Free; donations welcome to support museum programming like this.
