June 8th: St. Clement’s Island Then & Now, hosted by Karen Stone
Maryland’s story begins on St. Clement's Island, where the Ark and the Dove landed in March 1634. It then changed hands a number of times until its final designation as a state park.
While motoring around the Island, Museum Division Manager and author Karen Stone will offer tales of the Island’s role in the American Revolution, the War of 1812, the Civil War, and World War II, and will include highlights of the colorful history of the Blackistone Lighthouse, including its destruction in the 1950s, and its eventual reconstruction in 2008.

Book in advance on Eventbrite. Cruises are capped at 20 people and tend to sell out! Ages 21+ only.
